Infrastructure Guide

The brief

NEOM is a visionary region being developed in northwest Saudi Arabia, spanning infrastructure, technology, energy and mobility. I was tasked with designing a 70-page infrastructure guide that reflected the ambition of the wider project.

The challenge was to organise a large volume of complex information into a clear, practical and easy-to-navigate publication, while maintaining a premium and considered visual language.

The approach

I designed the guide from the ground up in InDesign, developing a flexible editorial system to organise a large volume of information across multiple sections.

The design balances clarity with sophistication — using typography, hierarchy, imagery and layout to create a consistent visual language while making complex infrastructure information easy to navigate and understand.

The result

The finished guide brings a substantial amount of infrastructure information together into a cohesive and engaging publication.

A strong editorial hierarchy, considered layouts and a consistent visual system give the guide a premium, sophisticated feel while keeping the content clear and accessible.
